CASology: Week 255: FLY

I love long weekends - more opportunity to sit at my craft table and create. I made a card for the current challenge at CASology where the cue card is

Here's my card

At first, I wondered if I had a "fly" stamp - I don't. Then I thought about an airplane - again, I don't own one. I remembered a stamp set, which I thought was perfect for this challenge. I smooshed distress inks (tumbled glass, salty ocean and faded jeans) on a piece of 96lb bristol. I tried to keep the ink towards the top of the panel. When dry, I stamped the birds using Lavinia Stamps - Birds stamp. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Blissful Butterflies.

  1. Your smooshed sky is gorgeous and those two stamps were made for each other. Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!

  2. Oh, wow, this is a beauty! What a perfect sentiment for your card -- and for the CASology challenge this week! I adore the smooshed sky, such a pretty combination of colors. Thanks so much for joining us at CASology!
